Nikon is bringing out new lenses frequently as it fills out its Z-mount lens range, including the Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.2 S, Nikkor Z 26mm f/2.8 and Nikkor Z 70-180mm f/2.8. Nikon Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR vs Nikon F 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E VR Since Nikon has yet to release a lightweight telephoto zoom for their full-frame Z cameras – other than the superzoom I’m currently reviewing – a lot of photographers have started using the F-mount AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E VR lens with the FTZ adapter to cover those focal lengths.
The 28mm and/or 40mm lenses would be perfect for the Zf and your intended uses. They are inexpensive enough (used) to get both! Nikon’s 24–70 f/4 is a very solid choice, but may be limiting in low light. Same for the 24–120. I am a fan of the Z 35S, I could be happy with it as my only lens.
Capable of capturing Ultra HD 4K video in a 16:9 aspect ratio at 30p by utilizing the width and resolution of the amazing backside-illuminated image sensor, this camera can achieve an equivalent of 5K video when using DX Mode.Bundle Includes:Nikon Z6 Mirrorless Digital Camera (Body Only)Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S LensNikon FTZ Mount Adapter
I bought the Z 6II and the R6 along with their 24-70, 28-70 F2, and 70-200 F2.8 just to make sure I gave it a fair shot, and I prefer shooting with the Z 6II. If you're a Nikon shooter that likes Nikon colors, don't bother with the R6. As hard as I tried to put up with Canon colors, I couldn't stand them.
Even the Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens – also not great with vignetting – never has more than 2.01 stops (24mm, f/4, infinity focus). That’s the same as the 14-30mm f/4 stopped down to f/5.6! However, when zooming in the 14-30mm f/4 to 16mm and beyond, especially at f/5.6 or smaller, it has no real vignetting issues compared to other lenses
