Most people play the game because it is easier than others. Not because they want it to get harder/slower. It would not be a good idea to get people to train to use raid build to be able to enjoy open world - making the dps so low that without a raid rotation it felt "too slow".)
Mostly that's because she can't type (chatting in game is out) and she is hard of hearing so she can't do discord. Still, Mom plays every day and makes all of the classes work for her. Her favorite class has varied. Her first favorite class was the ranger with a longbow because the pet tanked and the character could stand way back with the longbow.
Tempest Support - Scepter Catalyst - Catalyst is currently the #1 most oppressive build in conquest, easily. I mean we can go into all kinds of debate about how to build these builds correctly, but in a nutshell, that is what you are looking at in current patching for which archetypes have the best performance. 1. 1.
Guard engie and necro are top class picks when picking a main. They are able to fulfill all squad roles in PvE and are often a preferred pick in squad compositions. They also fulfill mandatory roles in WvW meta. As 2nd tier there's mesmer, ele and ranger. Mesmer is decent in PvE & WvW, but lacks a heal build.
A class based around channeling and communicating with Legendary figures like the Revenant is exceptionally Norn-y indeed. In a way, the Revenant could be seen as a Shaman/Skaldic figure. Link to comment
GW2 community and content creators are amazing and always ready to lend a hand. I wanted to put a small collection of useful sites for new and returning players to help them to complete the various objectives with ease, and improve the gaming experience.
Easy burst. Go practice on the golems. Build up life force and then go into shroud for the burst. It can teach some great pvp skills if you find you love the game mode. You will learn not to die. You can swing so many team fights as a reaper, but only if you are alive to win them. You will learn rotation.
